Five Life changing books you must read in 2020

W. Somerset Maugham once said: “To acquire the habit of reading is to construct for yourself a refuge from almost all the miseries of life.”

We all have our own priorities for our lives. At the same time, we have own excuses, particularly, when it comes to reading, e.g.:

1.     I hate to read.

2.     I can’t find time to read.

3.     Books are really expensive.

4.     I don’t even know what to read.

If reading is a habit you’d like to get into, there are a number of ways to cultivate it.

Realize that reading is highly enjoyable, if you have a good book. If you have a lousy book (or an extremely difficult one) and you are forcing yourself through it, it will seem like a chore. If this happens for several days in a row, consider abandoning the book and finding one that you’ll really love.

Other than that, try these tips to cultivate a lifetime reading habit:

1.     Set up a reading time.

2.     Always carry a book.

3.     Find a quiet place.

4.     Reduce television/Internet.

5.     Read to your kid.

6.     Go to the “Used Book Shops”.

7.     Have a library day.

8.     Read fun and compelling books.

9.     Start Blogging.

10.  Have a reading hour or reading day.

In this age, other than reading a traditional hard bound books, there are a newer ways to ready books i.e. Book Reader and Audio Books. Audio Books is yet another way to save time and enjoy a book while you are on the move.
